The Second International Agro-Industry Investment Forum, held from 5 to 8 March 2018 in Addis Ababa, was co-organized by the Government of Ethiopia and UNIDO as a follow-up to the first forum held from 5 to 7 October 2016. The event was hosted by His Excellency Dr. Mulatu Teshome, President of Ethiopia.
The forum focused on investment opportunities in food processing, textiles and garments, leather and leather products, as well as agro-industry allied sectors. It was organized within the framework of the Programme for Country Partnership (PCP) for Ethiopia.

Participants included representatives of the government, United Nations organizations, financial institutions, and the international and local business community.
The forum featured a high-level opening session, two full days of panel discussions, an exhibition for national and international companies, field visits and several other side events.
